The Musical Tastes of Vixen Vapors Fort Worth

What is our favorite music to listen to while we work?

This is such a serious question! So many of us throughout the company have such a vast taste in music! We range anywhere from gangsta rap, to dubstep, to instrumental, to indie, to heavy metal, to country, and so much more!

At our Fort Worth location we enjoy using Spotify! On AJ’s off days he likes to change the music from his home to prank those of us who are working! Talk about listening to the Friday song every Friday! Some days Aly is feeling fancy and will binge on Amy Winehouse for hours on end!

A good medium we have found it Matchbox Twenty! Some busy days a lot of our customers have enjoyed the old school metal! Our customers have such a diverse taste and lately a lot of them have been enjoying Megadeth! Coming from the heart of metal and the Pantera days it is a good flashback!  When rainy days hit we are a lot calmer! Some days we are feeling jazzy, we range anywhere from Frank Sinatra, to smooth jazz! Something about a rainy day has us feeling some type of way. Some days we like to turn it on a nice indie playlist like Dustin Kensrue or City and Colour! Don’t worry we still blow clouds in the stormy weather! Dustin Kensrue is one of my favorite artist! He used to be in a pop-punk band called Thrice! If any of you are a fan of Miley Cyrus and her song Wrecking Ball he does a phenomenal cover! Along with a cover of Radiohead’s Creep!

A day without music at Vixen Vapors is a sad day indeed! If you have ever come into any of our location’s and walked into silence it is a bit awkward! Have you ever been taking a test at school and you can hear the person next to you snoring! Same type of feel! We make it a number one rule to always have something playing! We have asked a few customers what their favorite music is and we get a lot of Tim Mcgraw, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Sheryl Crow, and even Bach! The versatility in music taste is crazy! We have come to notice a lot of people just enjoy walking into a store and having something upbeat to keep their interest and that is exactly what we try to do at Vixen Vapors!!
