I remember the first time I ever heard the term vapers tongue, I thought it was a joke. It may sound really strange, or even funny, to some of y’all, but it’s absolutely real. Vapers tongue is one of the most common issues that vapers face, but the most commonly unknown one. Basically, vapers tongue happens when your taste buds become too accustomed to one flavor and you begin to not taste it anymore. In other words, too much of a good thing can be bad when it comes to flavorings and vaping. Now, if you are one of the people that changes flavors often then you probably won’t have to worry about this issue. However, if you are a vaper that likes to find a flavor that you love and stick to it for very long periods of time then you will most likely run into this issue at some point.
What can you do to fix this? It’s actually really simple. There are two options to curb vapers tongue. Firstly, you can add in additional flavoring to your liquid. We actually offer two flavor “upgrades”, double flavor and triple flavor. Sadly, though, this is not going to be a permanent fix, and the likelihood of vapers tongue happening is still pretty high. The best solution is to find a new flavor, and rotate between the two. I know, it sucks. Finding a flavor that you absolutely love can be hard, really hard. Finding two that you love equally can be even more difficult. But, think of it like this, switching between flavors will keep your taste buds fresh, and you won’t have to worry about not being able to taste the sweet (or maybe not sweet, personal preference), delicious flavor that you have fallen head over heels for. After all, doesn’t the saying go “two is better than one”?
I’ll never forget the day that I realized I couldn’t taste Brainz anymore, I was heartbroken. Luckily, I changed flavors and after a while, when I went back to Brainz, I was able to taste everything that made me fall in love with it in the first place. Vapers tongue is, in a word, rude. Thankfully it is an issue that is an incredibly easy fix. So, in the future when you realize that something just isn’t the same about your flavor anymore, but you can’t figure out what the issue is, just try switching to something else for a while. After all, you can always go back later. Besides, who doesn’t love experimenting with new flavors and tastes? Maybe that’s just me though. Have you ever experienced vapers tongue?
